HuaTong was established

HuaTong was established in 2004. In that year, Mr. Wang, the President of HuaTong, conceived the idea of setting up a metal abrasives factory.

At the beginning, we had only a simple, small workshop and one rudimentary production line with a monthly capacity of just 300 metric tons. 

Remarkably, within that same year, we secured our first order from a Taiwanese buyer.

Affected by the economic crisis

Despite the headwinds of the economic crisis, HuaTong maintained its momentum of rapid growth.

Starting from 2007, we experienced a surge in large orders, primarily driven by the domestic market. To keep pace with this booming demand, HuaTong’s management made the strategic decision to establish a new factory and expand production capacity.

New workshop was launched

By 2009, HuaTong had launched the construction of its new workshops, paving the way for a massive scale-up.

By 2011, the construction of our new workshops was completed. An advanced production line, with an annual capacity of 80,000 tons, was then assembled at the new production site.

HuaTong new office building

In March 2016, HuaTong’s brand-new corporate headquarters was completed. The entire administrative and operational workforce—including the Sales, Logistics, and Finance departments—relocated to this modern, three-story office building, ushering in a new chapter of collaborative growth.

Brake disc workshop

Later that same year, HuaTong marked a major milestone in its diversification strategy with the launch of our specialized brake disc factory.

Almost all types of brake discs can be manufactured in our factory. Furthermore, we have registered our own brand names: Defuboo and Delike.

Improved quality & production

Through many years of research and development, our product quality has been greatly improved. Meanwhile, our annual production capacity has expanded to 120,000 tons.

Covid-19 epidemics

In late 2019, COVID-19 broke out and quickly spread widely all over the world.

During those years from 2020 to 2022, our production was seriously affected by these adverse conditions, leading to irregular shutdowns.

Attend overseas exhibitions

We made the decision to attend overseas exhibitions immediately following the end of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions in 2022.

In 2023, we attended many exhibitions held in Russia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and South Africa, among other countries.

The Mayor visited HuaTong

In October 2024, the Mayor of Binzhou City and several officers visited our brake disc production facility and gave us valuable advice.

New production site of metal abrasives is under construction

In early November 2024, construction began on our new metal abrasives production site. It will cover about 60,000 square meters and consist of three large workshops.

It is estimated to be launched in 2026. At that time, our total production capacity will exceed 250,000 tons.
