The production process of steel shot.
1.First, the selection and preparation of raw materials are carried out. Usually, scrap steel, alloys are used as raw materials.
2.The prepared raw materials are placed in the medium-frequency furnace for melting, resulting in high-temperature molten steel.
3.Then, through the centrifugal atomization method, the molten steel is dispersed into small droplets, which are rapidly cooled and solidified into pellets (Steel Shot) in the air.
4.Next, the steel shot undergo processes such as drying, coarse screening, rounding selection, and sieving to remove the defective products, and are then classified according to particle size.
5.Following this, there is a second quenching and tempering process to adjust the hardness and toughness of the steel shot and to enhance their service life.
6.Finally, there is the process of screening and packaging. The qualified steel shot are packaged according to different specifications to facilitate sales and usage.
