    Product application

Surface sandblasting and secondary surface sandblasting of hull in shipyard, rust removal cleaning, as well as sandblasting and rust removal cleaning of the pretreatment line of production of hull steel plate.

The section steel and steel plate accessories used in the steel structure are sandblasted and rust removed by the through shot blasting machine. Only suitable for the workpiece surface requirements of cleanliness and roughness, is conducive to the next process of painting etc. Therefore, for customers, we have to use high-quality and cost-effective steel shots to minimize production costs and reduce the loss of steel shots in sandblasting.

Rust removal: Including shot blasting, shot peening, casting rust removal, forgings rust removal steel plate rust removal, forgings rust removal, steel rust removal, H steel rust removal, steel structure rust removal.
Shot blasting: section steel shot blasting, section steel sandblasting, ship plate shot blasting, steel plate shot blasting, steel shot blasting.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is steel grit and how is it manufactured?
Steel grit is an angular abrasive produced by crushing high-quality steel shot. Backed by nearly 20 years of manufacturing experience, our steel grit is processed through precise heat treatment to ensure superior durability and optimal hardness for various blasting applications.
Q2: What are the differences between GP, GL, and GH hardness grades?
We offer three types of steel grit based on hardness: GP (40-50HRC) which is softer and ideal for descaling; GL (50-60HRC) which has medium hardness and loses its sharp edges during blasting, suitable for most surface preparation; and GH (60-66HRC) which has maximum hardness, stays angular during operation, and is ideal for deep etching requirements.
Q3: What sizes of steel grit do you provide?
Our steel grit is available in a wide range of standard sizes to suit different surface profile requirements, including G12, G14, G16, G18, G20, G25, G40, G50, G80, and G120.
Q4: What are the primary applications of steel grit?
Steel grit is widely used for heavy-duty rust removal, shot blasting, and surface pretreatment. Common applications include shipyard hull sandblasting, steel plate cleaning, structural steel preparation, and coating pretreatment.
Q5: How does using high-quality steel grit help reduce production costs?
High-quality steel grit offers superior durability and a lower breakdown rate. This means it can be recycled and reused multiple times in sandblasting machines, significantly reducing abrasive consumption and minimizing overall production costs.
